Join FYP and Esperanza Education Fund for a concert featuring accomplished pianists, followed by a champagne reception and art exhibit, while raising money for local immigrant students who aspire to go to college. FYP is a proud supporter of Esperanza Education Fund's Annual Scholarship Fundraiser on Friday, March 14. The money raised from this benefit concert enables local immigrant scholars to attend their public university of choice. In the past five years, Esperanza has raised $90,000 in grants to ten scholars!
Mr. Donald Graham—former publisher of The Washington Post and founder of TheDream.US, a new multi-million dollar national scholarship for DREAMers—will be the guest of honor at Esperanza's 5th anniversary benefit concert. Mr. Graham will receive the first-ever Esperanza Award for his contributions to advancing hope in the immigrant community.
The concert and award presentation will be followed by a champagne reception and special art exhibit featuring work by some of the region's finest immigrant artists and artisans, including painters Naomi Chung, Delna Dastur, Teresa Oaxaca, and Michael Jose Torra; sculptor Patricia Silva-Santisteban; photographer Daniel Penchina; and fine jeweler Alberto Parada. Please visit Esperanza's website for more information about the event and artists.
We hope to see you there!
